Accordsign

About Accordsign

We got tired of overpriced e-signature software.

So we built what we actually wanted: legally valid e-signature for businesses anywhere, priced by the document instead of the seat — and, for India, with Aadhaar eSign included on every plan.

An Aadhaar eSigned contract in Accordsign, marked verified and legally valid

The story

Why we built Accordsign.

We started Accordsign because the eSignature market had settled into two kinds of product: enterprise tools priced for Fortune 500 budgets, and free-tier tools that fall over the moment a signature has to hold up. Neither works for a business that sends a handful of contracts a week and needs every one of them to stand.

We started where we were. India has 36 million small businesses, most of them signing on paper or on trust, and the tools sold to them either ignored Indian law or charged extra for it. Building for that market first is why Aadhaar eSign is on every plan rather than an enterprise add-on. It is not a limit on who the product is for — customers sign under the US ESIGN Act and UETA, under India's IT Act 2000, and under the equivalent frameworks elsewhere.

So we built Accordsign with three commitments:

  • Indian compliance, not bolted on. Aadhaar eSign is included on every plan. Not an enterprise upsell. Not a separate product. A signature option you can pick at any time, for ₹20$0.25.
  • Transparent pricing. ₹200$5 for a 5-document pack. ₹20$0.25 for an Aadhaar signature. No "contact sales" gates on the small-business tier.
  • The simplicity of consumer software. If a freelancer signing their first NDA can't figure it out in 30 seconds, we built it wrong.

We're builders, not sellers. Our team is small. Our infrastructure is professional. Our prices are deliberately uncomfortable for incumbents.

We're not chasing the Fortune 500. We're trying to make signing accessible for the 36 million Indian businesses, the freelancers building their first contracts, and the founders sending their first offer letter.

What we believe

Four things we keep coming back to.

Signing should be the boring part

Contracts matter. Signing them shouldn't be the hardest part of closing a deal. We've optimised Accordsign for the boring case — send, sign, done — because that's what 95% of contracts actually need.

Compliance shouldn't cost more than the product

"Aadhaar eSign is an enterprise feature" is something only a non-Indian company would say. We bundled it into every plan because in India, it should just be there.

SMBs deserve the same uptime as enterprises

We run one grade of platform. The freelancer's NDA goes through the same infrastructure as the largest customer's contract. No fast lane, no slow lane.

If you're not sure whether something is legal, ask

The eSign space is full of vague compliance claims. We try to say specifically which Indian law makes which type of signing valid. If you spot us getting it wrong, tell us — we'll fix it.

The team

A small team, all in one room.

Engineers, product designers, and customer support — all in one office, all on the same Slack channel. When you email support, a human reads it. When you find a bug, an engineer fixes it. When a feature request comes in, we actually consider it.

Contact

Two inboxes. Both monitored.

Sales, partnerships, press, general questions, and security disclosures all route to connect@accordsign.app. Existing customer issues go to support@accordsign.app. That's it — no fake inbox aliases.
